This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from the Avely store, why we use it, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.

1. Who we are

Avely is a trade name of Empire LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We are responsible for your personal information.

2. The information we collect

• When you order: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you provide it, items ordered and your order history.
• When you pay: payment is processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal or another method offered at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
• When you write to us: your email address and the content of your messages.
• When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address.
• When you browse the store: technical data collected automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and cart contents, through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use it

• To process, ship and deliver your orders and send you tracking (performance of the contract).
• To answer your questions and handle returns and refunds (performance of the contract).
• To prevent fraud and secure payments (legitimate interest).
• To meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
• To send you our newsletter and offers, only if you subscribed; you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email (consent).
• To run and improve the store and measure how our ads perform. Cookies that are not needed for the store to work are only used with your consent where the law requires it (consent).

The information requested at checkout is needed to process your order: without it, we cannot deliver it. No decision with legal effects on you is made solely by automated means; Shopify’s fraud analysis helps us, but the final decision is ours.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the providers that help us run the store, and only as needed:

• Shopify, the platform that hosts the store and processes orders;
• payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal);
• our logistics partners and carriers, who prepare and deliver your orders;
• our analytics and advertising tools, according to your cookie choices;
• our email tools, if you subscribed to our newsletter;
• authorities, when the law requires it.

5. Where your information is stored

Our providers, including Shopify, may store and process your information in Canada, the United States and other countries. When information about people in the European Union, Switzerland or Quebec is transferred outside their territory, these transfers rely, where the law requires it, on the safeguards it provides, such as an adequacy decision (Canada has one) or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

• Orders and invoices: as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes.
• Customer service messages: as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on your order.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Cookies: according to each cookie’s own duration. You can delete them at any time in your browser.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information in a common format, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to us at support@myavely.com. We reply within 30 days.

You can also file a complaint with the data protection authority of your country, state or province, for example the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the CNIL in France.

8. Security

The store and checkout are protected by an encrypted connection. Shopify complies with the PCI DSS payment card security standard. No system is 100% secure, but we limit access to your information to the people who need it.

9. Children

The store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
